The shoes looked very attractive, but unfortunately I had to return them after trying for a week. The decorative seam running down the center of the front of the shoe was causing a constant rubbing against the top of the foot, with each step. Other than that annoying problem, the shoes were light-weight and well-ventilated. I am still hoping to find a New Balance model of walking and tennis shoes that equals the comfort of NB shoes I had in the past.

The shoes are the BEST I have ever worn. They truly do absorb the weight and make each step comfortable and effortless. As an overweight individual I now look forward to long walks due to the comfort these particular shoes bring. I would like the design to be sleaker, more attractive. However, they make walking on hot pavement for 3 miles or more even comfortable. I have been a loyal customer of NB for over 25 years. Every time I purchased another brand of sneakers I have been disappointed. Other shoes have created great discomfort. I am anxious to purchase my 2nd pair of the 870. Thank you for making these shoes!
