I was looking for a nice boot to wear with pants, or long skirts or long dresses, in the wintertime, so am terribly disappointed that the boot is a little to short and a little to narrow at end of toe)(where a New Balance same size is always a little to long and a little to wide - size for size, 12D). When they came yesterday I had been on my feet most of the day so changed into thin cotton socks and felt way, way to small, so re-tried them on today with just nylons, but they are still to small. That and the heel so wide it rides up and down when I walk. Am really sorry as the boots are just beautiful and look great on me, so my disappointment is way bigger than if they were ugly and ugly on me! Oh, something about how the heel is made, or how high it is, tips my body forward and hurts the small of my back, too. If the boots weren't so super-expensive I would be tempted to keep them, but just can't do that and only be able to wear them on real cold mornings, when my feet are freezing.
