I love New Balance's W587. I first learned about them through a customer at my outdoor jewelry kiosk. This customer was buying a ring for his wife. He asked me how my feet were holding up since I worked all day standing up on concrete. He worked for New Balance and offered to make some recommendations for me. I told him how my ankles hurt and my knees were starting to ache on a daily basis. I have had flat feet all of my life and knew how my legs felt was related to how my shoes supported my feet. This customer sent me an email later and recommended several styles but highlighted W587. I bought a pair, began to wear them at work and almost immediately my ankles and knees started to feel better. I have now owned 3 pairs and am about to buy my fourth pair. I have not worn ankle or knee support in years. I love my W587s and am so grateful to that man from New Balance who informed me about the W587's. Thank you New Balance.

I love the NB 587 for walking. I do wish, however, that you would replace the bottom black fubber layer with something that lasts a little longer. That layer wears down way before the shoe itself does. Also, please make the tongue of the shoe smaller. It\'s so large that it catches on my pant legs. Thanks!
