I needed shoes for training, since I have been using my New Balance MR1061 for running and training. I read the article here in NewBalance.com and stated that running and training shoes are completely different. Did a little reading and decided to try it out.
Commenting on the comments posted before me: these training shoes is not design for running. The website well describes what it does: kickboxing, weight lifting, aerobics etc... It provides that cushion as well as that stability needed for side to side movement and different angles.
Compared to my running shoe: MR1061 (now I have 1062 due to clearance sale), there is a big difference. Now I have two pair of shoes that meets my everyday training needs: running shoes with running shoes (MR1062), and training shoes for training shoes(MX1010).
I gave the MX1010 4 star on comfort and overall satisfaction due to that fact during lunges and squats I tend to stretch the mesh forward, or I should say not enough support on the toe section. It might by form and how I perform the exercise, but braking with these shoes as well tends to stretch the mesh/upper portion of the shoe. Seems like I\'ll tear it (only happens on extreme exercises).
Overall, I am happy and extremely satisfied according to my experience. Again, this training shoe is not design for running, maybe warm-up running/jogging for training exercises, but not for running!
Again, not for running! Read the article training shoes vs running shoes : Newbalance.com
