Just received the 966 walkers and the first impression is that the color is somewhat darker than illustrated. Walked around and found them as well cushioned and supportive as my 645GR's but purchased the 966BR's to add to my color selection and because there are times that I require the waterproof feature. The waterproof construction of the tongue flaps that attach to the shoe sides and fold over are somewhat uncomfortable especially when relaxing and might be more comfortable with a little padding on the folds or a little depressed padding on the shoe sides in the area of the folds. My biggest complaint is that there is not a loop on the back of the shoe to aid in pulling the shoe on.

This line of shoe was the best I have ever owned, that is until NB stopped producing it in black. I used this \"Country\" walker every day in NYC and it never failed me or my feet, cold or hot, dry or wet. The Brown/Tan does not cut it so I stopped buying it. What a shame.
