New Balance 558

This is my second pair of 558s. I bought my second pair because I thought I really liked them. I am a walker, running has become to hard on my knees. I\'m 6\' and 240 lbs. I had no idea about over or under pronators... so this shoe seemed to work (besides I always got them on sale for a good price). I discoverd at a New Balance store that I was an over-pronator. Using this shoe to walk 4 miles a day could have been the reason I always got very sore muscles in my legs. Sore to the point I had to stop and let the pain go away. I also noticed that on the inside heal, the material would wear away and usually not too long after walking in them . So I\'m on a mission to find the right shoe. These 558 will, I\'m sure, work for many out there... just not for us over pronators. They run a bit wider it seems, I wear a 4E and I should have got the 10 1/2 instead of the 11 that I usually wear. I would highly recomment these shoes to anyone that these shoes were made for. They just didn\'t work for me because this shoe is wrong for my foot.

These shoes are very comfortable and made for my daily walks.
