T-Frame® Stability System
Developed by Aravon for their most supportive shoes, this strong, lightweight component combines a midfoot shank with a heel extension to help control rearfoot motion. It helps steady the foot as it glides through each step, enhancing alignment and easing stresses throughout the gait cycle.
 
Stability Shank
Provides support for the heel-to-metatarsal area. Integrated within the slimmest of Aravon outsoles, its lightweight strength is felt but never seen.
 
Stability Cradle
Integrated into the full-length Velocor™ footbed, the stability cradle cups the heel, preventing rearfoot motion and maintaining alignment to avoid over- or underpronation. The cradle extends forward on the medial side to provide additional arch support.
 
Full Ground Contact Outsoles
Following the foot's natural contours, Aravon outsoles maintain contact with the ground while cushioning the heel and forefoot. This provides a naturally stable platform for the comfort and support technologies of Comfort Engineering by New Balance.
 
Stridarc Rocker Soles
Rocker soles gently propel you through the gait cycle so your feet don't have to work so hard. Designed with a slight curve, the sole "rocks" the foot from heel-strike through toe-off, barely bending the shoe and reducing pressure on the foot, ankle, toes and metatarsals.
 
Polyurethane Soles
The molded polyurethane outsole of Aravon shoes stabilizes the heel and supports the longitudinal arches; the outsole grooves encourage proper foot flexion.
 
Heels-Grounded in Support
Aravon has engineered the lasts and outsoles of the Office collection to gently hold ankle joints in the best-supported position, even while lifting the heel to fashionable heights of 1 or 1-1/8 inches.
